The property sits at the foot of historic Assisi, on the countryside side of the town, surrounded by olive trees and tall pines. The walk up towards the Basilica of Saint Francis starts at the gate.

Guests arriving by car have free private parking on site with no reservation needed, including accessible spaces, which removes the usual difficulty of reaching a hilltop centre. Once the car is parked, most of what brings people to Assisi is within walking distance uphill.
